Stockholm:DD, Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard visited Berlin for a meeting with Germany’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Johann Wadephul, recently.
Discussion topics included security in the Baltic Sea region as a joint concern and expanded cooperation between Sweden and Germany with additional important dimensions as a result of Sweden’s NATO membership.
Ms Malmer Stenergard also met with Chairman of the Bundestag Committee on Foreign Affairs Armin Laschet and, together with Chief of Joint Operations of the Swedish Armed Forces Ewa Skoog-Haslum, briefed on a German defence company.
