Markaz Student Muhammed Salman to Represent India at 32nd International Holy Qur’an Competition in Cairo

Cairo: DD, Muhammed Salman, a student of the Markaz Academy of Qur’an Studies, has been selected to represent India at the 32nd International Holy Qur’an Competition being held in the Egyptian capital under the auspices of the country’s Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The prestigious competition, which runs until the tenth of this month, will see participants from several countries competing in various categories. Muhammed Salman will take part in the memorization category, having secured his place after delivering exceptional performances in both the preliminary and national-level selection rounds.

A dedicated student of Qur’anic studies, Salman has previously competed in the SSF Kerala Thartheel Holy Quran Premio, the National Holy Qur’an Competition, and the Markaz Qur’an Festival. He hails from Vallakkadavu in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, and is the son of Sajir and Shanida.

The Markaz Qur’an Academy, spread across 32 campuses in different states, has consistently produced students who qualify for top international Qur’an competitions in Dubai, Egypt, and other countries every year.
