Kargil, DD, Under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, a district-wide mass pledge against drug abuse was organized today across Kargil.
All government departments, schools, colleges, religious organizations actively participated and administered the pledge.
Government officials, staff members, teachers, students and religious organizations collectively took the pledge to contribute towards building a drug-free society and to raise awareness about the ill effects of substance abuse. The mass participation highlighted the commitment of the district to safeguard youth and to strengthen efforts towards eradicating the menace of drugs.
We appreciate the overwhelming response from all institutions and emphasized that such initiatives play a vital role in spreading awareness and ensuring community participation in the fight against drug abuse.
The pledge reflects the collective resolve of the people of Kargil to stand united in building a healthy, safe, and drug-free society.DD
