Poonch : DD, Indian Army undertook a significant medical patrol in a remote village of Dhara Morah, Surankote Tehsil, which has been deeply affected by militancy in the past. The patrol navigated through numerous mohallas and panchayats providing crucial medical assistance to vulnerable demographics including elderly individuals, women and children who lack adequate access to healthcare facilities. During the patrol the Army medical team administered basic treatments, conducted health check-ups and distributed essential medications to address the pressing health needs of the villagers. This initiative underscores the Army’s commitment towards the communities residing in challenging and underserved regions. A total of 44 villagers to include 12 Men, 18 Women & 14 Children benefited from the medical patrol.DD
