Mega Surgical Medical Camp Begins at District Hospital Kishtwar

IMRAN SHAH

Kishtwar, DD, A week-long Mega Surgical Medical Camp commenced today at District Hospital Kishtwar, organized by Rotary International in collaboration with the District Administration and Health Department Kishtwar. The camp will run from April 17 to April 23, 2025, offering free surgical and medical services to the residents of the district.

The initiative aims to provide advanced surgical care and consultations to patients who may not otherwise have access to such medical facilities. Expert doctors and surgeons associated with Rotary International have joined hands with the local health department to ensure a smooth and impactful operation of the camp.

Speaking at the inauguration, officials from the Health Department and District Administration lauded the efforts of Rotary International for their humanitarian support and commitment to improving healthcare in rural and underserved areas.

The Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Kishtwar extended gratitude to all collaborators and encouraged the public to take full advantage of the services being offered during the camp.

Residents of Kishtwar and adjoining areas are urged to visit the hospital and benefit from this rare opportunity to receive quality healthcare without any cost.DD
