Ganderbal,(DD) The annual pilgrimage to the sacred Mata Kheer Bhawani temple in Tulmulla, Ganderbal began on a spiritual note as the first group of devotees from Jammu arrived on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Jitin Kishore, along with senior officials including the DIG CRPF, SSP and ASP Ganderbal, warmly welcomed the pilgrims with flowers, creating an atmosphere of devotion and hospitality at the shrine.
To ensure a smooth and comfortable yatra, the district administration has put in place extensive arrangements. From enhanced security measures to sanitation, accommodation, and medical facilities, every aspect has been carefully managed.
“We have worked round the clock to make sure all preparations are in place. Our goal is to offer devotees a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling experience,” said DC Kishore.
The pilgrims expressed happiness and gratitude on reaching the temple. “It truly feels like returning home,” said Sunita Raina, a devotee from Jammu. “The warm welcome and excellent arrangements have made us feel safe and blessed.”
