Minor killed, her parents injured in Bani road mishap

KATHUA:TDD, A minor child was killed, and her parents sustained multiple injuries in a tragic road mishap in Bani on Thursday.

As per the reports, the family of three were travelling in a car (Ecco Van) carrying registration number JK08P 6559. The driver of the vehicle lost control, and skidded off the road at Bani Dhaman Road near Khabal bridge.

In this road mishap, the 25-year-old, Mohammed Irfan, son of Sher Ali, resident of Chaloge and his wife Priya Bano sustained injuries, and their five-month-old daughter lost her life in the accident.

Immediately after the road accident, the police and locals swung into action and evacuated the victims to the Primary Health Centre, Daggar.

The injured were referred to the CHC Bani for further medical care whereas the minor was pronounced dead. Police have started an investigation with the registration of a case in this matter.TDD
