Srinagar, DD, The Mission Director of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), J&K, Mr. Khurshid Ahmad Shah, has directed Jal Shakti (PHE) Divisions across Jammu and Kashmir to expedite the mapping of pipelines laid under JJM and ensure their timely upload on the PM Gati Shakti portal.
Chairing a preparatory meeting with Chief Engineers of Jal Shakti (PHE) Departments from Jammu and Kashmir, Superintending Engineers (Hydraulic) Circles, and Executive Engineers from Civil and Mechanical divisions of the Union Territory, Mr. Shah emphasized the importance of achieving targets within the stipulated timeframe. The meeting served as a precursor to a scheduled discussion with the Mission Director and Additional Secretary & Mission (ASM) of the National Jal Jeevan Mission on April 4, 2025.
During the virtual meeting, the Mission Director reviewed the progress made in uploading data related to pipeline infrastructure and water testing facilities developed under JJM on the PM Gati Shakti portal. He urged the concerned engineers to rectify errors in previously uploaded data on the Integrated Management Information System (IMIS) portal to ensure transparency in showcasing completed projects.
All officers attended the meeting virtually from their respective locations, reaffirming their commitment to meeting the objectives of the Jal Jeevan Mission efficiently.DD
