Jammu: Day 3 of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat camp organized by 8 J&K Girls Battalion NCC under the aegis of the JK&L Directorate, dawned with a high-josh, mist-kissed morning that set the tone for an unforgettable enthralling Jammu Darshan.
With excitement etched on every face, the day promised a journey where history spoke, culture breathed, and faith found its voice.
In a splendid display of unity in diversity, 500 SD/SW cadets of Rajasthan and JK&L Directorate accompanied by ANOs and PI Staff, embarked on an enriching expedition across Jammu’s cultural and spiritual landmarks. From the serene charm of Bahu Fort Gardens to the divine aura of Bawe Wali Mata Temple instilled a sense of spiritual calm and left the cadets spellbound with a deep sense of devotion and respect.
The Raghunath Temple echoed as a majestic symbol of enduring devotion and architectural grandeur while the solemn presence of the Balidan Stambh stood tall as a reminder etched in stone of supreme sacrifice and valour.
The cadets walked through the corridors of time at the Dogra Art Museum, where artefacts whispered tales of valour, art and tradition. Hari Palace added royal hues to the canvas, accomplishing a journey that was truly a walk down memory lane.
Each destination carried a rich historical legacy, turning the darshan into a classroom without walls—interesting, informative and inspiring.
For cadets from Rajasthan Directorate and those hailing from far-flung regions of Jammu and Kashmir, the experience was nothing short of a spirited blend of fun and learning. Bonds were forged, perspectives widened, and hearts warmed as cultural exchange came alive in its truest sense.
Emerged as the most exciting chapter of the camp – Jammu Darshan was more than a sightseeing tour, it was a celebration of region’s pluralistic ethos, reinforcing the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat where youth walks hand in hand with heritage, the journey becomes a story worth telling.DD
