Improving road infrastructure is one of top priorities of PM Modi Govt: Satish Sharma
Billawar: TDD,BJP MLA Billawar Satish Sharma today said that road connectivity is a crucial aspect of BJP’s developmental agenda as improving infrastructure not only enhances the daily lives of residents but also lays the foundation for long-term growth and progress in the region.He said this while kick-starting construction of 2 Km road from Sand to Doboga at an estimated cost of Rs 2.42 crores and another 2 Km road from Babhnoo to Uchapind at Tharakalyal at an advertised amount of Rs 2.42 crores.
Speaking on the occasion, Satish underscored the BJP-led Government’s unwavering commitment to enhancing infrastructure across Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed confidence that such projects would not only enhance road connectivity but also contribute to the region’s socio-economic growth by easing access to various facilities and opportunities. “The construction of 4 Km roads reflects our continued focus on grassroots-level development, ensuring that every resident has access to better roads and infrastructure,” he said.He further added that this initiative is part of the larger developmental agenda aimed at improving connectivity in every corner of the constituency. “Improving road infrastructure is one of the top priorities of the Government. It is essential for the overall development of Billawar constituency and will provide a better transport system for local businesses, schools, and healthcare centers,” Satish remarked.
MLA Satish also apprised the residents of area about several upcoming development projects that are currently in the pipeline, which are aimed at further enhancing infrastructure and improving the quality of life in the area. These projects include upgrades to roads, water supply systems, and public amenities, he added.Later, MLA Satish Sharma took the opportunity to interact directly with the people of area and listened to their concerns and feedback. He assured the residents that the Modi Government remains committed to addressing their needs and that their concerns will be taken into consideration as part of the ongoing and future development plans.He acknowledged the importance of reliable and well-maintained roads in improving accessibility, safety, and daily convenience for residents, especially in densely populated areas.
Reiterating his commitment to reach out to the people with enhanced amenities and prompt service delivery, MLA Satish said that a comprehensive development plan is underway to meet expectations of the people.He added that public partaking is vital factor to supplement initiatives for effective implementation of programme and welfare schemes. He assured the people that all their developmental needs will be met in a phased manner. He also appealed the people to help in better upkeep of public utilities and keeping environment clean.
Satish further said that PM Modi Govt is committed to provide improved basic amenities to the people of J&K. Several initiatives are underway to upgrade basic services and improve the living standard of the people especially of weaker sections of the society. The road connectivity is the top priority of the Government and in this regard necessary directions were already passed to all the concerned departments to prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for uncovered areas so that all habitations would be provided better road connectivity, he added.TDD
