Chenani:TDD,MLA Chenani Ghordi constituency, Balwant Singh Mankotia, today flagged off a Kisan Study Tour from Chenani to Doda district. This initiative aims to empower farmers by exposing them to modern agricultural techniques, advanced farming equipment, and innovative practices being implemented in other areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Mankotia highlighted the importance of upgrading agricultural knowledge to improve productivity and income for farmers. He said, “Farmers are the backbone of our economy, and their growth directly contributes to the overall development of the region. This study tour is designed to provide them with valuable insights and practical knowledge, which they can implement to enhance their farming practices.” He added
The study tour includes visits to progressive farms, interaction with agricultural experts, and exposure to best practices in the field.
Officials from the Agriculture Department and prominent local leaders were also present during the event. Mankotia further assured the farming community that similar initiatives would continue to be undertaken to ensure their progress and prosperity.TDD
