New Delhi,TDD,In a significant development for healthcare and education in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajiv Jasrotia, MLA from Jasrota constituency in Kathua district, met with Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, in New Delhi. Jasrotia expressed gratitude for the approval granted to commence the first academic session of the newly sanctioned Homeopathy College in Kathua.
During the meeting, Jasrotia urged Dr. Singh to expedite the NHAI project from Rajbag to Doda under the Bharat Mala Project. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Lakhanpur-Basohli-Bani-Bhaderwah-Doda National Highway has been finalized, revealing a new route that will reduce travel distance by over 100 kilometers. The proposed Balasundari tunnel through the hills of Mata Balasundari in Billawar will streamline the route from Rajbag, significantly reducing the distance between Basohli and Sheetal Nagar in Bani.
Jasrotia highlighted Kathua’s remarkable development under Prime Minister Modi’s vision and Dr. Jitendra Singh’s guidance. The MLA emphasized that this development aligns with the government’s commitment to “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Together with all, Development for all), focusing on the welfare of the poor, farmers, youth, and women’s empowerment.TDD
