Ramban :TDD,Banihal-Gool MLA Sajjad Shaheen today launched the region’s first air-conditioned SRTC bus service connecting Banihal to Jammu. The inauguration marks a major upgrade in public transportation comfort for residents of the mountainous constituency.
Standing beside the gleaming new bus, Shaheen shared the community’s excitement: “This has been a long-standing need of our people,” he said, expressing gratitude to Transport Minister Satish Sharma for approving six buses for the Banihal-Gool constituency.
The new AC service promises to make the challenging Banihal-Jammu journey more comfortable for passengers, especially during the scorching summer months. Local residents can look forward to similar upgrades on other routes, as the remaining buses will be deployed across different parts of the constituency.TDD
