Udhampur :TDD, District Police Udhampur arrested two most wanted lady drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Udhampur and recovered 19.69 grams heroin like substance from their possession.
Based on reliable information regarding the smuggling/trade of heroin in Dabreh area of Krimachi Udhampur, Police Party of Police Station Udhampur headed by its SHO and SHO Police station Women Udhampur raided the suspected location and two women were arrested from the Dabreh, Udhampur who were engaged in the trade/selling of heroin. The raid was carried out in the presence of an Executive Magistrate First Class Udhampur and during frisking of both apprehended ladies, 19.69 grams of Heroin like substance was recovered from the possesion of both ladies drug peddlers namely Halima W/O Bashir Ahmed R/O Dabreh and Nishad W/O Mohd. Rauf R/O Dabreh Morh, Udhampur who have been arrested and contraband substance has also been seized by the police team.
A case FIR No. 433/2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation started.TDD
