Motivational Lecture on How to Join Armed Forces Organised at Bafliaz & Hasplot, Rajouri

Rajouri:DD, Keeping in view of Indian Army’s core objective of maintaining cordial relations with local citizens and with the aim of motivating the future of the nation, the school children, towards joining Armed Forces and to instill a sense of patriotism, Indian Army organised a ‘Motivational Talk on How to Join Armed Forces’ at Bafliaz and Hasplot.
The aim of the event was to spread awareness amongst students about how to join armed forces and various initiatives taken by Govt. During this event, representative of Indian Army gave a motivational lecture on the subject matter for school students and local populace of Bafliaz and Hasplot.


The representative also conveyed to the teachers that tremendous potential in terms of talented and academically bright students is available in the region, however, due to lack of proper guidance, they fail to harness their full potential. Keeping same in perspective, the interaction was aimed to tap the raw potential from these students and to urge them to join armed forces through Sainik Schools, other education institutions and through pre commissioning training academies.
A total strength of 65 persons (including 05 x Teachers, 14 x Boys and 20 x Girls at Bafliaz and One Teacher, 10 x Boys, 13 x Girls and Two Ladies at Hasplot) attended the event. The event helped in spreading awareness amongst the students about significance of education and its role in growth of society. Representative of Indian Army also advised the children to pursue their aim in respective fields and contribute towards environment, society and country as a responsible citizen.

He motivated and assured them of all possible guidance and assistance from Indian Army for their future endeavours. This initiative is part of outreach program to build awareness, instill confidence and encourage young minds in the region to pursue careers in the defence services. The children and locals appreciated the initiatives taken by Army for the welfare of local populace and students.

This endeavour by Indian Army to reach out to the population residing in remote areas, where civil administration has limited accessibility, will go a long way in developing and strengthening trust between JAWAN and AWAM. The event also served as a platform to strengthen the bond between Army and the people of this region. It showcased Army’s commitment towards service to the nation.DD
