Jammu:TDD,Movement Kalki’s nationwide campaign to declare the cow as the ‘National Mother’ is going strong on its 36th consecutive day. Today, the movement received support from the Hindustan Shiv Sena. The Jammu and Kashmir President of Hindustan Shiv Sena, Vikrant Kapoor, visited Amphalla to meet the members of Movement Kalki and officially announced his support for the campaign.
Vikrant Kapoor said that “We wholeheartedly support this sacred mission of Movement Kalki. Protecting cows and upholding the dignity of Sanatan Dharma is a responsibility of every individual. It is a shame that some leaders have not come forward to support this cause. They must clarify their stance. Such silence on an issue of national importance is disgraceful.”
He emphasized the need for Granting the status of ‘National Mother’ to cows,Enacting strict laws for cow protection,Establishing gaushalas (cow shelters) nationwide,Creating a Sanatan Board and a Cow Protection Board.
Movement Kalki’s Advisory Board Member, Pritam Sharma, welcomed Hindustan Shiv Sena’s support, calling it a morale booster for the campaigners. He shared that rallies and awareness programs are being conducted regularly to engage society. A large rally is planned tomorrow at 4 PM from Roop Nagar.
Board Member Vikram Mahajan Said the support from Hindustan Shiv Sena has strengthened our resolve. We urge the people of Jammu to join this movement and support the fight for cow protection and the dignity of Sanatan Dharma. Our battle will continue until our demands are met.”
Legal Advisory Board Member Advocate Sumeshwar Kohli remarked It is deeply shameful that cow smuggling and slaughter continue in a sensitive region like Jammu and Kashmir. The failure of successive governments to act decisively on this matter raises serious questions about their integrity.
