Nubra, DD: Muharram-ul-Haram was observed with religious solemnity and deep reverence across various parts of Nubra, including Diskit, Hunder and Pratapur today on July 6, 2025.

Marking the sacred occasion, peaceful processions were carried out in several villages. The procession at Pratapur was led by Akhon Ali Shah, at Hunder it was led by Akhon Abdul Wahid and at Diskit by Sheikh Abass Ali.

Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu Leads Grand Ashura Procession to Commemorate Martyrs of Karbala

A large number of people gathered at each location to participate in the observance. The events were conducted peacefully with the full support and cooperation of the local administration and community members.DD
