Udhampur: TDD,Police team from Police Station Udhampur led by its SHO while performing vehicle checking at Jakhani naka point stopped one vehicle (Swift) bearing temporary registration number JK01C- 0014TC for checking purpose which was coming from Jammu and going towards Kashmir side.
On frisking of driver as well as passengers of the vehicle, one person (passenger) namely Raja Waseem S/O Abdul Waheed R/O Sheikhpora, Kupwara started acting in such a manner which created suspicious, thereafter frisking of said person 11.20 grams of heroin (chitta) like Contraband substance was recovered from his possession who has been arrested on spot.
On this, a case vide FIR No. 491/2024 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Udhampur and further investigation was set into probe.TDD
