Leh, DD, National AYUSH Mission, UT Ladakh, conducted a ‘Free Geriatric Medical Camp’ at TCV Old Age Home, Choglamsar and Helpage India, Leh Elders Village, Shey on 25 Apr 2025 and 26 Apr 2025 respectively.
A team of five medical officers/staffs, Dr. Namgyal Tundup, Consultant (Sowa-Rigpa), Dr. Kunzes Dolma, Consultant (Sowa-Rigpa), Dr. Stanzin Noryang, MO (Homeopathy), Dr. Rubina Jabin, MO (Homeopathy), and Dr Sonam Dolkar (Ayurveda) conducted the medical camps at the two old age homes.
A total of about hundred patients were provided free medical check-up including prescription and distribution of medicines. Each camp was scheduled from 10:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m.
The team was facilitated by the concerned in-charge/manager of both the old age homes and expressed their satisfaction and requested for more such medical camps in future.DD
