National Conference will Never forge alliance with BJP: Farooq Abdullah

Any Alliance with BJP Spells Doom for Political Parties in J&K

The Diplomat Desk

Srinagar,(TDD) National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah reaffirmed the party’s unwavering stance on Saturday, stating that they would never form a government in Jammu and Kashmir alongside the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

According to Dr. Farooq, any political party that chooses to align with the BJP risks complete erasure from Jammu and Kashmir’s political landscape.

“There’s no question of an alliance with BJP. The vote in favor of National Conference was a direct rejection of BJP’s policies,” Dr. Farooq stated, shutting down speculations about possible collaborations following the upcoming election results.

He further emphasized the importance of waiting for the final count, saying, “Let the results be declared, and then we will know who the people have truly supported. Exit polls only tell part of the story.”

In addition, Dr. Farooq expressed confidence that Congress will secure victory in the Haryana Assembly elections. He noted that voters who have suffered under the current government have rallied behind Congress for change—(TDD)
