Mendhar:TDD, Rashtriya Rifles Batallion organised an interaction session for the students of Model Acadmy Sagra to celebrate National Education Day, honoring the legacy of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Recognizing the pivotal role of education in nation-building, Rashtriya Rifles Batallion organised the event, engaging around 120 school children in an enlightening session on the value of education. The celebration began with an opening address covering the significance of National Education Day followed by an interactive lecture that highlighted the transformative power of education. From the Opportunities that education provides to broadening of horizon for personal and national growth was discussed in detail. The lecture also addressed the qualities of discipline, resilience, and determination that education instills in students, comparing them to values upheld by the Indian Army. Students were encouraged to approach learning not only as a pathway to success but as a means of becoming responsible and informed citizens. In a question-and-answer session that followed, students eagerly posed questions regarding the experiences and the importance of continuous learning in the Army. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the school principal, who expressed gratitude to the Rashtriya Rifles Batallion for their dedication to nurturing young minds and for reinforcing the importance of education on such an important occasion.
