Srinagar:DD, The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) on Friday announced three names for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.
Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, NC General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar said the party has nominated Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Sajjad Kichloo and Shammi Oberoi as official candidates.
Sagar said the decision followed detailed deliberations within the party leadership under the guidance of NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah.
He added that the nominations represent regional balance and inclusivity and would help voice J&K’s concerns effectively in the Upper House. (KNC)
