NC government in Jammu & Kashmir, they have miserably failed to live up to their promises :- Adv. Purnima Sharma

Jammu :TDD- National Conference misguided voters of Jammu & Kashmir with fake poll promises just before the Assembly Polls to gain their votes. Now, after the 2 months of NC government in Jammu & Kashmir, they have miserably failed to live up to their promises, stated Adv. Purnima Sharma, Spokesperson, J&K BJP.
Purnima Sharma, accompanied by Neha Mahajan, General Secretary, Mahila Morcha, J&K BJP was addressing a press conference at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
While addressing the media persons, Purnima Sharma said that the NC government has failed delivering to their promises especially in their Women centric approach and for the consideration of economically weaker sections.Employment in energy sector through government facilitation and incentive-linked mini hydropower generation projects including solar power projects.
Purnima Sharma said that the NC promised to provide 200 free units of electricity and free drinking water to each household.They also had said that they would implement a one-time settlement for pending electricity bill arrears in both rural and urban areas.The NC has asked to provide Rs. 5000 per month to female heads of households to EWS and 12 cylinders free of cost per year to EWS.
NC had promised to enhance the old age and widow pension to 3000.NC had promised the women that they would be entitled to travel free in all public Transport.NC promised to enhance the marriage assistance from 50000 to 75000 to EWS. They also promised to increase the medical allowance of pensioners and family pensioners from existing Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month.
NC had also promised for establishing of Minority Commission and Two senior citizen homes one each in Jammu and Srinagar will be established with facilities of sports, recreation, reading and writing, etc
Before elections, NC had promised to increase Free rice allocation to 10 kg per person per month. And 10 kg rice/Atta per person per month for the general public. Also, the allocation of kerosene and sugar, similar to the approach taken by other states.
They promised to strengthen the PDS and make it people friendly and guaranteed that the PDS outlets are stocked adequately and that there is a timely supply of food grains to avoid shortages.
In health sector, NC promised to formulate a comprehensive State Health Policy, create a Medical Trust with a free insurance cover of ₹5,00,000 per annum for terminal diseases like cancer, heart and kidney transplants and also establish Village & Mohalla Clinics for basic healthcare and emergency care.
Adv Purnima Sharma, reminded the NC of all the fake poll promises made to the residents of Jammu & Kashmir and said that instead of being people friendly, NC government is trying to enjoy the power corridor while delivering nothing on ground to the people.TDD
