Jammu,(DD): Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma on Wednesday slammed National Conference (NC) leader Mir Saifullah over his remarks on Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), stating that such statements reflect his “ideological mindset.”
Speaking to reporters outside the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Sharma criticized the NC-led government for being indifferent to public concerns, especially during the ongoing Budget session.
“People had high hopes that their grievances would be addressed, but the government is not serious about resolving their issues,” he said.
Referring to Saifullah’s remarks, Sharma asserted that comparing Jammu and Kashmir with PoJK was “not just inappropriate but a reflection of his thinking.”
He further stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would strongly oppose any unconstitutional or anti-national remarks in the Assembly, emphasizing that such statements would not be tolerated.(DD)
