NCC Cadets Excel in Local Republic Day Parades across Jammu Region

Jammu:DD, In a remarkable display of dedication and hard work, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets from the Jammu region participated in local Republic Day parades on January 26th, achieving outstanding results across various districts. The GCW Udhampur contingent secured the first position at Udhampur, while the boys’ contingent of 2 J&K Bn NCC clinched second place at MAM Stadium in Jammu. The 2 J&K Bn NCC girls’ contingent also performed admirably, finishing third at the same venue.

The impressive performances by the cadets are a testament to their relentless practice and commitment to excellence. Major General Anupinder Bevli, VSM, ADG NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh, witnessed the performances at MAM Stadium, Jammu, and complimented the cadets for their remarkable achievements.

General Bevli expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm and dedication of the NCC cadets, who continue to set higher standards with their zeal and commitment. He acknowledged the efforts of cadets not only at district headquarters but also in remote areas such as Khour, Poonch, Rajouri, and RS Pura, where NCC contingents also finished on the podium.

The success of the NCC cadets is a clear indication of the Victorious Will instilled by all stakeholders, including the heads of institutions, Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), Permanent Instructor Staff, and NCC Officers. The NCC, being the largest youth organization, consistently demonstrates its role in nation-building and maintaining the highest standards of drill and coordination during national celebrations.
