NCC TRAINING CAMP WITH ARMY: SHAPING FUTURE LEADERS

Jammu:DD, Tiger Division conducted a two-week NCC Army Training Camp for 120 Girl Cadets of 2nd J&K Battalion, which commenced on 24 September.

The camp provided an enriching blend of rigorous training, exposure to military life, and inspiring interactions, aimed at nurturing discipline, teamwork, and leadership qualities among the young cadets.

Designed as a transformative experience, the training programme combined both physical and intellectual activities, immersing cadets in the ethos of the Indian Army.

They engaged in collective tasks, leadership drills that tested their endurance, strengthened their resilience, and fostered camaraderie.

The emphasis was not just on physical fitness but also on cultivating responsibility, confidence, and a spirit of service to the nation. The visit also included exposure to various new generation weapons and equipment with the Indian Army.

A curated visit to the War Museum gave the cadets a profound glimpse into India’s rich military history, its glorious traditions, and the sacrifices of brave soldiers who laid down their lives in service of the nation.

The Camp concluded with an interaction with General Officer Commanding, Tiger Division, wherein he motivated the cadets to embrace discipline and dedication as guiding principles in life to contribute towards nation building.

By the culmination of the camp, the cadets exhibited visible transformation, enhanced confidence, leadership traits, and an unwavering commitment to contributing to society and the nation as torchbearers of India’s future.DD
