‘ No need for panic, samples of relatives of deceased being taken’

Rajouri, (DD) The mysterious deaths in Budhal village, Rajouri, have been attributed to neurotoxins, confirmed the Principal of Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri Dr AS Bhatia, during a press briefing today.
Flanked by MLA Budhal, Javaid Iqbal Choudhary, the Principal assured residents that the condition is not a communicable disease and urged calm amidst growing concerns.
“Our findings indicate that neurotoxins are responsible for the deaths. It is important to note that this is not a virus or a contagious disease, so there is no need for panic,” the Principal stated.
To eliminate the possibility of viral or infectious causes, medical teams had previously taken samples from the deceased.
“All reports confirm that those who lost their lives suffered brain damage due to neurotoxins. Our focus now is to determine the source of these toxins, whether it is environmental, food-related, or linked to another factor,” the Principal explained.

The GMC Principal also confirmed that teams are collecting samples from relatives of the deceased to gain further insights. “We are thoroughly investigating and leaving no stone unturned to prevent further loss of life. Early intervention is critical, so anyone experiencing symptoms should contact medical authorities without delay,” he urged.
The deaths have left the village in shock, with locals eagerly awaiting answers about the source of the neurotoxins. Authorities have assured that a comprehensive and transparent investigation is underway to ensure the safety of the community.
