NHM Employees Deprived of Salaries for Two Months on the Eve of Eid-ul-Fitr

IMRAN SHAH

Kishtwar :DD, The National Health Mission (NHM) employees, who play a crucial role in delivering essential healthcare services across the region, have been struggling without salaries for the past two months. This prolonged delay has caused significant financial distress to thousands of workers and their families, especially as they prepare to observe the holy festival of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Despite their unwavering commitment to public health and tireless efforts in serving communities, the non-payment of dues has left many employees unable to meet basic household needs, including essential preparations for the upcoming festival. The situation has not only impacted their morale but also raised concerns about the uninterrupted delivery of healthcare services in rural and urban areas.

Dr.Nazir Hussain,MO General Secretary/Spokesperson All JK NHM Employees Association Jammu urge the concerned authorities to take immediate action to release their pending salaries before Eid-ul-Fitr to alleviate their financial burden and allow them to celebrate the festival with dignity.

Dr.Nazir Hussain also appeal for a long-term solution to ensure timely salary disbursement, recognizing their vital contribution to public health and community welfare.DD
