NIA Conducts Searches in Rajouri and Reasi Districts Following Shiv Khori Terror Attack

Jammu,TDD, The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has initiated search operations in two districts of Jammu and Kashmir as part of its ongoing investigation into the deadly terror attack that occurred on June 9.

The attack, which targeted a bus carrying pilgrims returning from the Shiv Khori temple, resulted in the tragic loss of nine lives, including seven pilgrims from outside the region.

The incident took place in Pouni area of Reasi district, where the bus veered off the road after coming under heavy fire and plunged into a deep gorge. Forty-one individuals were also injured in the attack.

In response to the horrific event, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) transferred the case to the NIA on June 17, entrusting the agency with conducting a thorough investigation.

   Multiple NIA teams are currently conducting searches in both Rajouri and Reasi districts, focusing on gathering evidence related to the Shiv Khori terror attack.
