No Winter Vacations Before Final Exams in Schools: Director SED Kashmir

TDD Correspondent
Srinagar, TDD ,Tassaduq Hussain, the Director of School Education Kashmir, announced today that there will be no winter vacations for students until after the completion of final exams in schools. This decision is part of the administration’s focus on maintaining the academic schedule and ensuring that students are given ample time to prepare for their exams.

By prioritizing the final exams over the winter break, the school calendar will be strictly followed, ensuring that students can concentrate on their studies without the distraction of an early holiday. Delaying the start of winter vacations is intended to support students in achieving their best academic results and keep the academic momentum intact until the exams are completed.

In a separate matter, Director Hussain also addressed concerns regarding the fee structures in schools, which have been a point of discussion among parents and education authorities. He reassured the public that the Fee Fixation Committee is actively monitoring school fees across the Kashmir region. The committee ensures that the fees charged by educational institutions comply with the prescribed guidelines and reflect the services and facilities provided by the schools.

The committee’s oversight aims to prevent any instances of schools charging excessive or unapproved fees. By keeping a close check on fee structures, the authorities aim to protect parents from unfair financial burdens and ensure that schools follow the approved fee structure. The Director also emphasized that any violations of the fee regulations would be taken seriously, and strict action would be taken against institutions found in breach of the rules.

This initiative reinforces the government’s commitment to safeguarding the rights of students and parents, promoting transparency, and ensuring that education remains both affordable and accessible to all. The implementation of these measures seeks to create a fair and balanced educational system where students and families are supported and treated equitably.(TDD)
