25-year-old salesman from Assam dies near LD Hospital; police investigating

Srinagar, (DD): A 25-year-old non-local youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Wazir Bagh area of Srinagar on Thursday, prompting a police investigation.
The deceased has been identified as Raju, son of Uk, a resident of Guwahati, Assam. He was working as a salesman at a shop near the LD Hospital in Wazir Bagh.
According to officials, Raju was found unconscious and was immediately taken to SMHS Hospital. However, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The cause of death remains unknown, and a post-mortem examination is expected to shed more light on the circumstances.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation.(DD)
