Udhampur: DD, Northern Command Chief, Lt General Pratik Sharma today reviewed counter-terrorism grid in Basantgarh, Udhampur.
As per the spokesperson, Lt General Pratik Sharma reviewed the security situation and the counter-terror grid in Basantgarh, Udhampur.
He was briefed on changing the operational landscape and dynamics. He exhorted all ranks to maintain the highest standards of operational readiness.
Pertinently, the Army alongwith other security agencies have launched a crackdown against the terrorists to neutralise them in the upper reaches of Basantgarh, Dudu, Seoj Dhar and parts of Doda, and Kishtwar District.
The coordination operation has yielded results and more synergy among the security agencies to carry out joint operations in the forest areas.DD
