Udhampur, J&K (India): The Army Commander of Northern Command, Lt General Pratik Sharma, reviewed the security scenario in the Jammu region during a high-level joint meeting held at Nagrota.
The Army Commander met key stakeholders at Nagrota to assess the evolving security dynamics in the region.
“The forum discussed seamless synergy in operations, joint combat readiness, and strengthening of the counter-terrorism grid. Modalities for heightened alertness were also formulated, leveraging all available resources in the region,” an official said.
In a strategic move to fortify regional stability, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, presided over the pivotal joint security review meeting at Nagrota.
The primary focus of the forum was to ensure seamless operational synergy between the Army and civil security forces, streamlining communication and tactical coordination to meet modern-day defence challenges.
Central to the discussions were enhancing joint combat readiness and further strengthening the existing counter-terrorism grid.
