Washington DC: DD,The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has said that he would recommend rather than forcing expulsion of Palestinian from the Gaza strip.
His statement came in the backdrop of strong response from the Arab nations, who unitedly opposed any forced migration of people from their home land Gaza.
In his interview with Fox News Radio’s Brian Kilmeade, Trump stated that: “l will tell you the way to do it, it is my plan. I think that’s the plan that really works. But I’m not forcing it. I’m just going to sit back and recommend it.”
He however expressed surprise over the response of Jordan and Egypt to the plan proposed by Trump on Gaza.
He said that the people of Gaza were given an option of living in strip (Gaza) or living in a nice community where they would go.
“It’s (Gaza) a great location. I don’t know why Israel ever gave that up. Why did they give it up?” he reacted.
Pertinently, Trump had called for the USA to take over Gaza and resettle its population with an aim to redevelop the strip into “the riviera of the Middle East.”
However, his statement drew a sharp response from the Arab world making it clear that they would not support the relocation or permanent migration of the Palestinian from the Gaza strip. The Arab countries have agreed to rebuild Gaza again without the migration of its population. (Agencies)DD
