Nov 3 Srinagar Grenade explosion: Injured Bandipora Woman losses battle in Sgr hospital

‘She was among 12 civilians injured in grenade blast at TRC crossing during weekly Sunday market’

Srinagar, (TDD): The 45-year-old woman who was injured following a grenade attack near the Tourist Reception Center (TRC) Srinagar on November 3, today lost her battle of life in a Srinagar hospital.

A doctor at the SMHS hospital Srinagar told the Diplomat that the 45-year-old woman, who was seriously injured in grenade attack near the Tourist Reception Center (TRC) on November 3, succumbed today afternoon.

She was identified as, Abida alias Sumaiya (45) w/o Zubair Ahmed Lone r/o Naid khai sumbal, Bandipora district

She was among the 12 injured and had been receiving treatment at SMHS Hospital since November 3.

Twelve civilians were injured in the grenade attack at TRC. Police recently had cracked the case by arrested three Lashkar-e-Toiba associates, all from Srinagar, who were behind the grenade attack. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir V K Birdhi had stated that the trio at the behest of Pakistani handlers had planned the grenade attack the weekly Sunday market on November 3(TDD)
