Srinagar, (DD): In the aftermath of the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 civilian lives, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has convened an all-party meeting on Thursday to formulate a collective response to the crisis.
The meeting will take place at 3:00 PM at the SKICC in Srinagar, and invitations have been extended to all political parties, Members of Parliament from the Union Territory, and the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly.
According to the official note, the objective of the meeting is to condemn the attack in one voice, assess the security situation, and discuss measures to safeguard civilians and restore public confidence.
“This is a moment for unity, not division,” a senior official in the Chief Minister’s office said. “The goal is to send a strong, united message against terror and to ensure justice and peace prevail.” (DD)
