Jammu, (DD): Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chaudhary on Wednesday asserted that the Omar Abdullah-led government is committed to addressing long-pending issues and completing developmental projects that were neglected over the past decade.
Speaking to reporters in Jammu, Chaudhary took a dig at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), calling it a “frustrated” outfit that has lost relevance in Jammu and Kashmir’s political landscape.
“PDP has been rejected by the people, and it is no longer a force to reckon with. We cannot respond to their statements every day, as they only aim to stay in the news,” he said.
Highlighting the government’s priorities, the Deputy CM emphasized that efforts are underway to resolve key public concerns, improve infrastructure, and fast-track developmental projects that remained incomplete in the past ten years.
“The Omar Abdullah government is working tirelessly to complete all the pending works that were ignored for a decade. Despite being in office for just 3.5 months, we have taken concrete steps, and there is still a long way to go,” he added.
He reiterated that the administration is focused on good governance and ensuring that people’s grievances are addressed effectively.(DD)
