Commends Omar Abdullah-Led Govt for Commitment to Jammu’s Rehabilitation

Jammu: DD, The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial President, Rattan Lal Gupta, has welcomed the assurance of Omar Abdullah that all formalities for providing land to landless families affected by the recent floods have been completed.

While talking with media persons at Sher-e- Kashmir Bhavan, Jammu, Gupta lauded the government’s proactive approach in ensuring that the process of relief and rehabilitation proceeds swiftly and transparently.

Gupta said the Omar Abdullah-led government is committed to rebuilding and supporting affected communities, particularly in Jammu, which bore the brunt of the floods.

He appreciated the administration’s efforts to communicate promptly with the Central Government regarding the relief package and expressed confidence that the assistance, once received, would be distributed fairly and without discrimination.

Reiterating the National Conference’s commitment to equitable development, Gupta said that the party stands firmly with the affected families and will continue to ensure their concerns are addressed with compassion and efficiency.DD
