Kishtwar (DD): Several people today sustained injuries, when a mini-bus they were travelling in, skidded off the road and plunged into a road side gorge in Kishtwar.
As per the initial reports, the driver of a vehicle carrying passengers, lost control, and it plunged into a road side deep gorge.
The ill-fated vehicle was on its way to kishtwar from Sarthal when it road met the mishap at Malipeth.
In the incident several people were injured, including one seriously.
The rescue operation was immediately launched to shift the injured to the hospital.
Meanwhile, police, civil defence, red cross teams and locals also rushed to the spot.
The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.DD
