Udhampur :TDD, Udhampur Police team from Police Post Roundomail led by its ICPP while performing vehicle checking at naka point Roundomail stopped one vehicle (Tanker) bearing registration number NL01L-5077 for checking purpose. During checking of said vehicle, 07 kg 855 Grams (alongwith Plastic Bag) of poppy straw like substance was recovered from the possession of the driver of the vehicle namely Manjinder Singh S/O Ajit Singh R/O Ghot Pokhar, Gurdaspur, Punjab who has been arrested on spot.
On this, a case under relevant sections of NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Udhampur and further investigation was set into probe.TDD
