OPERATION SINDHOOR: Indian Army launches 9 precision strikes inside Pakistan, PoK

New Delhi: DD, Indian Armed Forces have carried out nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), causing massive damage to the terror network, and its infrastructure.
As per the media reports, the attack was carried out as a result of the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of 25 Indian innocent civilians and one Nepali citizen.
The Indian Army carried out a well coordinated attack i.e., Operation Sindhoor inside Pakistan and PoK.
The Indian Army in a statement has stated that: “A little while ago, the Indian Armed forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed.”
“The actions by the Indian Armed forces have been “focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature,” it stated.
The army has said that India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution.
Pertinently, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has given “complete operational freedom” to the Indian Army in a high level meeting on April 29, 2025 to crush the terrorism.DD
