Three buses involved in crash near Khudwani; all injured said to be stable

Kulgam, (DD)More than ten Amarnath pilgrims were injured on Saturday after three Yatra buses collided near the Khudwani area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
Officials said the incident took place near the Tachloo crossing when three vehicles, all part of a convoy heading towards Baltal, collided with each other.
The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby health facility in Qaimoh. A doctor there said that at least nine of the pilgrims received first aid before being referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for further treatment.
“All the injured sustained minor injuries and are in stable condition. They were shifted to GMC Anantnag for additional medical care and formalities,” the doctor stated.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the collision(DD)
