Kathua: In an exceptional case following the order of Special court Jammu, Kathua Police today executed attachment warrants against seven accused persons of Tehsil Lohai Malhar District Kathua.
These seven persons have been currently residing in Pakistan and they were involved in case FIR No. 21/2024 U/S 61(1),147 BNSS,13/16/18/38/39 UA (P) Act & 2/3 EIMCO Act of Police Station Malhar.
In the above said FIR a proclamation was issued against the following seven persons who are presently residing in Pakistan.
Police said that they have attached one kanal of land belonging to Mohammed Ayaz alias Adeel Ansari, son of Ghulam Hussain, resident of Lohai Malhar. 12 marla of land belonging to Abdul Kareem alias Bitta, son of Abdul Sattar, resident of Malhar in Kathua has also been attached.
One kanal and ten marla of land of Sarfraz Nawaz alias Nawaz Ahmad, son of Mohd Saleem, resident of Lohai Malhar, Kathua also attached.
The police have also attached one kanal and five marla lands of Mohammed Farooq alias Farooq Ahmed son of Abdul Rehman, resident of Lohai Malhar, Kathua.
Two kanals of land belonging to Mohd Hafeez son of Mohammed Bhatt, resident of Lohai Malhar, Kathua; fifteen marla of land belonging to Gul Mohammed, son of Mohammed Ramzan Khan, resident of Lohai Malhar Kathua and three kanals and 13 marla of land Akhter Ali alias Niku son of Mohammed Saleem, resident of Badnota Mora, Arodha Tehsil Lohai Malhar, Kathua.
All the above said accused remained absconded even after proclamation so with the assistance of Revenue department and after fulfilling the legal formalities the immovable properties of the above said JKNOPs were identified and attached to U/S 84/85 BNSS.
Thus overall, 10 Kanals and 15 Marlas of land (Immovable Property) worth crores of 07 residents of Tehsil Lohai Malhar District Kathua and currently illegally residing in Pakistan got attached.
The whole operation was led by SHO Police Station Malhar PSI Arun Shan under the guidance of SP Ops Upper Kathua Amir Iqbal and DySP PC Malhar Sunil Kumar and overall supervision of SSP Kathua Mohita Sharma IPS.
This action reflects the firm resolve of Kathua Police to act decisively against individuals involved in unlawful and anti-national activities.
The process of identifying and attaching properties of such offenders will continue as per due process of law.DD
