Udhampur :TDD- In an Major Achievement by the Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur Police today seized 2 Quintals and 11 KG of Poppy Straw /Bhukki( Crude form of Opium) during an Check Naka at Jakhani on Jammu Srinagar National Highway Udhampur.
As Per the Reports based on specific Input Police party of Police station Udhampur started surprise Checking at Jakhani Check Naka on Jammu Srinagar National highway Udhampur and intercepted a Truck bearing Registration Number HP 73 B-2204 which was was on its way to Himachal Pradesh from Kashmir and during checking Police Recovered 211 Kg of Bhukki (Poppy Straw) which was hide in the truck. Police arrested the Driver of the Vehicle on the Spot and seized the Vehicle also. Meanwhile Police Registered the case and further investigation going on.TDD
