Stockholm:DD, Minister for Defence Pål Jonson will attend a meeting of NATO defence ministers in Brussels. The day before, he will take part in a meeting with the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (UDCG), at which support for Ukraine will be discussed.
The meeting of NATO defence ministers on 13 February will be preceded on 12 February by a meeting in the UDCG, at which issues concerning overall support to Ukraine will be discussed. The meeting will be chaired by the United Kingdom.
This meeting of NATO defence ministers is the first at which the new American administration will be present. The development of the Alliance’s ongoing deterrence and defence will also be discussed at the meeting.
