Kishtwar, DD, In a major crackdown on traffic violators, the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Tasleem wani Kishtwar, with the assistance of SHO Firdaus Ahmed Kishtwar, seized a passenger vehicle found guilty of repeated serious traffic offenses.
The vehicle, bearing registration number JK17-6404, which was operating on the Kishtwar-Dang Doru Dachan route, had been a persistent violator of traffic rules, posing a severe risk to passenger safety. Despite multiple warnings, the vehicle was once again found violating traffic regulations at Giri Nagar Naka today.
Taking strict action, the ARTO Tasleem wani Kishtwar has seized the vehicle and initiated the process for Permit Suspension of the vehicle and Driver’s License (DL) suspension of the driver.
Authorities have reiterated their commitment to ensuring road safety and warned that strict action will be taken against any vehicle found endangering public lives.DD
