Jammu: DD, A plantation drive was organised here in the complex of the High Court in Janipur.
Under the directions and patronage of Justice Arun Palli (Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh), a plantation drive was organized in the High Court Complex, Janipur, Jammu in collaboration with Urban Forestry (Jammu Division) under the Chairmanship of Justice Sindhu Sharma.
The occasion was graced by Justice Javed lqbal Wani, Justice Mohd, Akram Chowdhary, Justice Rahul Bharti, Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi, Justice Rajesh Sekhri, Justice Mohd Yousuf Wani and Justice Shahzad Azeem by their august presence and active participation in the plantation drive by planting saplings of different varieties of ornamental trees including Chinar, Jacaranda and Gulmohar.
Nirmal Kotwal (President, J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu) and members of executive body of Bar Association including Baldev Singh (Vice President), Pardeep Majotra (General Secretary), Anshu Mahajan (Joint Secretary) and Rahul Aggarwal (Treasurer) were also present on the occasion and keenly took part in the said plantation drive.
The event was organized on occasion of Guru Purnima as a contribution to mother nature and with the aim to inspire general public to make Jammu city clean and green and create a safer environment for future generations.DD
