POLICE DETAINS NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL UNDER PSA IN SAMBA

Samba, TDD, In order to curb the criminal activities in district Samba, J&K Police has detained and lodged in jail notorious criminal under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA).

The accused identified as Murad Ali @ Maradu S/o Teg Ali R/o Sarore Gujjar Basti Mean Sarkar tehsil Bari Brahmana district Samba has involved in multiple criminal cases registered against him at different Police Stations of district Samba and district Kathua. His criminal activities have posed a serious threat to public peace and tranquility.

Following his repeated engagement in criminal activities, detention order was issued by the District Magistrate Samba based on detailed dossiers prepared by SSP Samba.

Police team of Police Station Bari Brahmana headed by SHO PS Bari Brahmana successfully executed the warrant, leading to the incarceration of the said accused in District Jail Kathua.

This successful operation shows the commitment of Samba Police towards ensuring safety of the public and its resolve to counter criminal activities.TDD
