Handwara, DD, In a vibrant display of patriotism and national unity, Police Handwara, in collaboration with the Education Department and civil society , today conducted mega Tiranga rallies across the Police District Handwara as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga and Meri Maati Mera Desh campaigns.
The rallies were held simultaneously at multiple locations including Handwara , Langate, Qalamabad, Vilgam, and Kralgund, witnessing overwhelming participation of police officers /officials, students of different schools, teachers, members of civil society, and local residents. Carrying the National Flag and chanting patriotic slogans, participants showcased an atmosphere of pride, solidarity, and respect for the Tricolour.
The events were flagged off by senior police officers. Students, dressed in vibrant uniforms, carried banners and placards promoting unity, peace, and the importance of preserving the ideals of freedom.
During the culmination ceremonies at respective venues, the National Anthem was sung in unison, and speakers highlighted the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters, urging citizens to contribute towards building a stronger and more united India.
Police Handwara expressed heartfelt gratitude to the students, teachers, civil society members, and all stakeholders whose active participation made the rallies a grand success. The police further reiterated their commitment to strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the public while upholding the values of peace, brotherhood, and patriotism.DD
