POLICE HOSTS DEBATE COMPETITION IN KISHTWAR

Kishtwar,DD, Police organized an inspiring Debate Competition on the theme “Role of Police in Nation Building” at the Auditorium Hall of Government Degree College, Kishtwar. The event was held to pay homage to the martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation.

The Chief Guest of the occasion was SSP Kishtwar, Naresh Singh who highlighted the importance of such initiatives in strengthening community engagement and spreading awareness about the vital role of the police in shaping a strong and united nation.

Students from various educational institutions participated enthusiastically, presenting thought-provoking perspectives on how the police contribute to peace, discipline, and national development. The competition fostered a spirit of intellectual exchange and civic understanding among the youth.

The top three performers — 1st winner Salma Liyakat, 2nd winner Abroo Wajid, and 3rd winner Bilal Choudhary — were felicitated with mementos and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performances. The efforts of the jury members were also acknowledged with certificates of appreciation for their valuable contributions to making the event a success.

In his address, SSP Kishtwar extended heartfelt gratitude to all participants, faculty members, and attendees for their enthusiastic cooperation. He reiterated the commitment of Kishtwar Police to continue promoting community engagement, public awareness, and the noble ideals of nation-building.

The event served as a fitting tribute to the brave martyrs who laid down their lives for the country. It reinforced the pledge of Kishtwar Police to uphold its mission of service, protection, and contribution toward a safer and stronger nation.

DySP Hqrs Kishtwar, Dr. Ishan Gupta, delivered the Vote of Thanks, appreciating the participants and organizers for fostering an environment of meaningful dialogue and collective learning.

The event was also graced by Addl. SP PC Kishtwar, Nisar Khoja, DySP Hqrs Kishtwar, Dr. Ishan Gupta, JKPS; SHO PS Kishtwar, Insp. Firdous Ahmed; and other officers and faculty members of Government Degree College, Kishtwar.DD
